Terms of use
The rules for using Save to Donate and earning rewards.
1. About us
Save to Donate (savetodonate.co.uk) is run by [Company name] Ltd, company number [XXXXXXXX], registered office [Address]. Contact: [email protected].
2. What we do
We list deals from third-party providers. When you click through and take out a product or book a holiday, the provider may pay us a commission. We share part of it with you as a reward. Your contract is with the provider, not with us. We don't sell products, take bookings or handle payments for them.
3. Membership
Membership is free. You must be 18 or over and live in the UK. One account per person. [Further eligibility rules.]
4. Rewards
- Rewards only track if you're logged in and complete the purchase in the same visit after clicking "Get deal".
- Rewards show as Pending until the provider confirms them. Providers can decline or reverse a reward (for example, if you cancel). If they do, we'll remove the reward.
- Only confirmed rewards can be used. The minimum amount you can redeem is £[X].
- Reward amounts can change before you click through. The amount shown at the time you click applies.
5. Using your reward
- Shop vouchers: issued as e-vouchers by email, subject to the retailer's terms and expiry dates. Vouchers can't be exchanged for cash. [Voucher bonus terms.]
- Charity donations: paid to the charity you choose, in a monthly payment. Donations can't be reversed once made. [Gift Aid wording.]
- [Cash option, if offered.]
6. Missing rewards
If a reward doesn't appear within [X] days, tell us within [XX] days of your purchase and we'll raise it with the provider. We can't guarantee the provider will accept the claim.
7. Bonuses
[Joining bonus and refer-a-friend terms.]
8. Fair use and account closure
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, including fraud, multiple accounts or misuse. [Detail.]
9. Our liability
[Limitation of liability wording, to be drafted by a solicitor.]
10. Changes and law
We may update these terms and will tell members about important changes. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
